About

About

From an early age, financial responsibility was second nature to me. As a young saver, I diligently put away birthday gifts and earnings from household chores into a local bank account. That discipline paid off when my family purchased a home—I was able to contribute significantly to the down payment. It was a defining moment for me, one that instilled a deep understanding of how financial planning could change lives.

Motivated by my experiences, I pursued an undergraduate degree in accounting and later earned an MBA in finance. My career naturally followed suit, beginning as a CPA working with financial firms on Wall Street. During my time there, I gained invaluable insight into how wealth was built and managed. However, I also saw firsthand how financial services could sometimes prioritize profit over people. That realization fueled a desire to create something different—a firm dedicated to acting in the best interests of its clients.

My wife Anna and I took a leap of faith and founded Christakos Financial. We didn't know if we would succeed, but we were committed to giving it our best effort. From the start, our firm reflected the values that guide our family life: trust, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others. We wanted our clients to feel like family, which is why our philosophy has always been, "Let our family help your family."

Over the years, we have faced the same challenges common in the financial services industry—changing tax laws, market volatility, and economic shifts. But rather than seeing these as obstacles, we viewed them as opportunities to learn, grow, and better serve our clients. Our unwavering commitment to education and adaptability ensures that we stay ahead of industry changes, always providing sound, forward-thinking advice.

Looking back, I am most proud of the impact we’ve had on the families we serve. Knowing that our guidance has helped people achieve financial stability, secure their retirements, and create lasting legacies is incredibly rewarding. Our vision for Christakos Financial remains the same as it was on day one: to provide honest, client-centered financial planning that empowers individuals and families to make the most of their financial resources.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to these founding principles, ensuring that the next generation of leadership at Christakos Financial carries forward our mission of trust, integrity, and family-centered service.
